What to expect

Board and train is a fantastic option for a broad range of training!  We see huge improvements with dogs that are leash reactive or dogs that just want to tidy up on their general obedience like recall! Jamie also does a lot of sport based work with his own dogs and so if you like the flashy look of that Jamie can also get your dog looking amazing! Your dog will live full-time with Jamie and his dogs going through their daily training schedule while at Board and Train! They will also be working extensively on their specific training needs daily all across Ballarat. 

Our  Board and Train program info is as follows: has a minimum booking of two weeks and the cost is $1000 per 7 days.  We have found this length of time is the minimum time required for your pooch to settle into board & train whilst achieving great progress in their training. 

To be suitable for board & train your pooch must be crate trained, human friendly, and C5 vaccinated. Your dog does not need to be friendly with other dogs although it is crucial you provide us with as much information about your dog’s behaviour as possible.  If your dog has separation anxiety unfortunately Board and Train isn't the best-suited option for your dog. Ask us for other suitable options!

As part of your program, you will also have a 1 hour ‘going home consultation’ with Jamie at Lake Wendouree to review all training covered at board & train.  This is to be scheduled around a week after pickup.
